02 / HEAT AND POWER

Wood or electric.
Then the circuit.

The heater on the product page sets the circuit, not the other way around. A 6 kW heater and an 8 kW heater are not the same job for an electrician.

01 / THE LISTED CIRCUIT

Match the amp number
on the page.

These figures are copied from Almost Heaven product pages reviewed October 12, 2026. They describe the listed electric heater. They are not a wiring plan.

Heater listings from the Pinnacle, Allegheny, and Hillsboro pages.
SetupHeaterCircuit
Pinnacle barrel6 kW240 V, 30 amp, hardwired
Allegheny cabin8, 9, or 10.5 kW240 V, 40, 45, or 50 amp
Hillsboro indoor6 kW240 V, 30 amp, hardwired

02 / WOOD HEAT

A wood stove is a
model question.

Almost Heaven's outdoor FAQ says wood-burning heaters are allowed on cabins, cubes, and large-diameter barrels, and not on every sauna. Confirm the model before you drop the electric circuit from the plan.

01

Cabins are in the allowed group

The Allegheny is a cabin, so the FAQ puts it in the group that can take a wood-burning heater. The page still lists electric heater sizes. Choose one and price that choice.

02

The barrel needs a yes

The Pinnacle page lists a 6 kW electric heater. Ask Almost Heaven whether this barrel counts as large-diameter before you plan a chimney.

03

The indoor kit is electric

The Hillsboro page lists a 6 kW hardwired heater. Do not treat the outdoor wood-stove FAQ as permission to put a stove in that indoor room.

03 / THE LIGHT

Budget a second
small circuit.

On all three pages the light is separate from the heater: a 15-amp plug, listed at 120 volts on the Pinnacle and at 110 volts on the Allegheny and Hillsboro. The heater circuit does not cover it.
