03 / BASE, POWER, AND THE PATH IN

The pad, the power,
and the path in.

A product's assembled size is the sauna. It is not the concrete, the trench for the circuit, or the gate the truck has to clear.

01 / BASE

Barrels and cabins
do not share a pad spec.

Almost Heaven's outdoor FAQ recommends a solid base for a barrel: concrete, pavers, decking, or stone. If none of those is available, they say a solid, flat piece of dirt or grass can be used. Cabins, they say, should sit on a prepared foundation, and concrete is the typical choice.

01

The Pinnacle can follow the barrel note

Use that FAQ for the Pinnacle barrel. A flat lawn is their fallback, not a promise that the barrel will stay level after a wet season.

02

The Allegheny follows the cabin note

Do not set the Allegheny on the grass fallback written for barrels. Price a prepared base in the cost planner before you compare it with a barrel kit.

02 / POWER

The circuit has to
reach the heater.

Field Guide 02 lists the amps. On an outdoor pad, that circuit has to travel from the house panel to the sauna. The published pages do not include the trench, the conduit, or the electrician. Those belong in the electrical line of the cost planner, not inside the sauna price you have not been quoted yet.

03 / DELIVERY

Read the shipping
note for that model.

Lead times on the three pages are not the same, and the cabin does not arrive like a parcel.

Shipping notes from the same three Almost Heaven pages, reviewed October 12, 2026.
SetupWhat the page says
Pinnacle barrelShips within 6 to 8 weeks.
Allegheny cabinFlatbed. Expected lead time 8 to 12 weeks. The buyer offloads it.
Hillsboro indoorShips within 4 weeks. Standard kit does not include flooring.
01

Indoor clearance is outside the exterior size

The Hillsboro FAQ recommends about 2 inches between the sauna and any wall, and about 12 inches overhead while you build it. Add that to the 63 by 45 1/4 inch exterior before you call the room large enough. Do not place it on carpet.
